People believe that Lord Ganesha, the symbol of wisdom bestows his presence on Earth during this festival and remove their obstacles. With such belief, Every year our college Shree Dhanvantary college of Engineering and technology celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi in our campus. For seven days, the students and faculty members celebrated the festival with gaiety and grandeur. The entire student community of engineering field devoted a lot of time and sweat in the decoration and management of the event - right from the a arti of the Lord Ganesha to the naivaidhyam 56 bhog.

As we know that Everything that has a beginning ,has an ending. We also ended celebration by immersing idol of lord ganesha in college campus with immense festive spirit among the students and teachers. As our idol of Lord Ganesha was pure clay so after Ganesh visarjan our students Meet boradiya , Devam chaganiya, Chelsi Varachhiya, Sujal Dakhra and faculty member Ms. Khushbu Patel planted a tree in that clay.

Festivals build group cohesiveness. Festivals inform,educate,bring people together, break the monotony of routine and give us a chance to re-energize our body, mind, and spirit. Of all the festivals,Ganesh Chaturthi is the most colourful. Ganesh Chaturthi is a Hindu festival that marks the birthday of Lord Ganesha.
